Final league position 1998/9: 10th in 2nd division

Comment by 1st or 2nd Committee rep

Player of the Year 98/9:

Mark Yates

Ones to watch 99/2000:

Rob Wood, Nathan Cunningham, Jonathan Breeze

In a nutshell:

Finding a winning combination from probably the biggest squad in either division. We will get there!

Defining moment of 98/9:

Winning the Youth Alive Central League Cup Final with a mixture of first team regulars and under 16s

Funniest moment:

Since it allegedly involved a referee I can't mention it here

In an ideal world:

All our non-Christian players would become Christians

Nightmare scenario:

Finding out that on the day we are due to play in the WMCFL Cup Final our players from Bath St Evangelical were having a day of prayer and fasting, those from Delves Baptist were attending a worship seminar and the remainder from Walsall CC were going to one of Dave Lakin's camp reunions. It couldn't happen, could it?

Tune to run out to:

"We are all One" by Bryn Haworth

The King George VI experience:

A sad reflection on Saturday football - Empty pitches, so take your pick!
